Carpe Noctem - Halloween Tag with Visible Image

Hi everyone!
Today I'm sharing a mixed media tutorial, for this Halloween tag with the super spooky Visible Image stamp set "Mr. Bone Jangles".

Start with a Brusho background. I used typical Halloween colors, like purple, green, orange and black. Stamp the death's heads with black permanent ink and mask them with some post it notes.

Stamp Mr. Bone Jangles with a lighter ink. I used purple ink. Remove the masks and use a white pastel pencil to paint the bones white.

Take the Tim Holtz "Shatter" stenicl (or any other) and add a layer of Gel Medium on top. Add some black glitter (only a litte bit) and some silver gilding flakes immediately. Set it aside to dry.

When the Gel is completely dry, wipe arround the tag with Distress Ink "black soot". The Gel will resist the ink. Finally add the sentiment. I cut it with the Cameo and covered it with WOW! Black Glint Powder.

Thanks for stopping by today!
xx Susanne.

We Are Beautiful - Art Journal Page

Hi everyone.

I'm sharing an Art Journal page today with brand new stamps from Rubber Dance. The Textured Houses are perfect for every season! Of course I played with them on winter projects, I used them for a Halloween card and here I've used them in my Art Journal.
In addition to the new Texturede Houses, I used the brand new words from the Beautiful Words stamps and some texture images from the other sets out of the "Textured Stamps" series.

The background is created with Brushos and Neocolor II crayons. I used Pitt Artist Pens to color the houses. Some of the houses were stamped on old book paper. I used the paper piecing technique to create even more texture.

Thanks for stopping by today!
xx Susanne.

Glimmer Of Light - ATCs with Visible Image Stamps

Hi everyone!

Today I'd like to share some spooky Artist Trading Cards with the awesome Visible Image "Glimmer Of Light" stamp set. I also have the step by step instructions for you:

An ATC is a card that measures 2.5" by 3.5". I cut two from a Brusho background.

I used my square mini Gelli Plate to add some texture. I used the mini Honeycomb Delight stencil by STAMPlorations plus "Wedding Cake" paint from Martha Stewart. I stamped the sentiment, which comes with the Visible Image stamp set, randomly on top. Just to create more texture.

Í stamped the main image - the death's-head hawkmoth - on my cards and also onto some white cardstock.

I used Distress Inks to color the moths.

I adhered the butterflies after I stamped the light. I stamped the light on white cardstock and adhered it, too.

I inked the edges with Distress Ink "Black Soot".

For a special finish, I used some silver embossing paste and scribbled it all arround the edges.

Thank you for stopping by today.
xx Susanne.

Friend Friday with Chameleon and DCWV

Hi my dear crafty friends!

It's Friend Friday at DCWV and I am sharing a cute favour box with the DIY Project Stack "Favour Boxed", the Color & Create Stack "Flowers" and the AWESOME Chameleon Pens. OMG! I really love to color with them. They are working brilliant. I've never seen something that works easier and ends up with such great results!

This project doesn't take lots of time and it is perfect when you need a last minute packaging.
1. Pick your favourite box. It's build up in one minute!

2. Look for a nice coloring page in the Color and Create stack. The Chameleon Pens are working so easy and the result is always fantastic. You don't need to be a coloring expert.

3. Cut your image and add it to your favour box as an embellishment.

I hope you like my little creation.
Thanks for stopping by!
xx Susanne.
